My girlfriend asked me why I watch this channel. Two reasons. First, I grew up in southwest Indiana and enjoy the scenery, especially the Ohio River. Second, the sheer joy of working in solitude.

Cap’n you just proved why fiberglass splitting maul handles are a necessity! I mean back when roofs were made of shakes and walls were cedar lap siding… a hickory handle would have made it all day. But, that al-you-min-e-yum would have eaten it up on the first strike! The road drag was a good choice for this job. It planed those ridges and filled the ruts like a cake decorator spreading frosting. Here’s a thought… if that brush cutter PTO, drive and stump jumper are any good… it might be worth salvaging. I’m a bettin’ that someone is lookin’ fer one. My neighbor shelled his out last summer. It seems that upgrading to Grade 8 shear pins worked too well. He only put one in, never broke it! And bonus…. Found that the gears were the next weakest link!!! 😱 PS: Thanks for the shout out… lots of folks dropped by to see me.

Well Captain, I hope your brother appreciates how hard you worked on his lot clearing up all the junk the previous owners left behind. I've helped clean up some lots like that and found some interesting things in the process. A couple of old salvagable pot belly stoves. Once an old wood burning cast iron kitchen stove that now days would be worth a couple thousand dollars. Collectable bottles and other antique items. Of course you did make some cash of the metal to offset the gas you used in the tractor and truck. Not bad for a day off.

I freakin love watching anyone cleaning up and getting as much as possible back into the recycler. My favorite part was knowing you were dropping the blade on every pass …breaking up the ruts and clods. Guessing you didn’t have the time to stay and properly manage the fire….or else lots of the wood debris would be gone. Good video!

It was you I was behind getting hit by all the metal flying off the trailer !!!!! JK 😂😂😂😂 I helped my dad clean our property of and scraped a crap load of metal. It was when it was high per 100 a few years back and one haul brought $500 !!! Then scrap prices fell and that same load would have only brought maybe $100. Just got to watch for when they go up again. GJ CPT !!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
