You spawn is leveling up (difficulty increase depending how many mobs in certain area you kill) now level 2 mob are spawning. Edit: 1:36:48 you know what maybe it time to leave spawn and find new home since there 2 star normal mobs are spawning since quite clear spawn mobs has level up way too much.

A tip for those just starting this pack: When you choose your XP boosting specialty here are the things to keep in mind, and what part of the game each helps with, because you can only ever get one; 1. Combat. One of the most simple to explain, this perk makes it so that when you slay mobs you gain more XP, this works great for late game mob farms, or, if you feel brave, taking on random enemies… this is also super risky and not very useable until crazy late in the game without super high chances of death. 2. Mining. Whenever you break a block in a way that can produce new materials that cannot easily be turned back into itself you gain extra XP. This can be a decent way to gain XP via strip mines, however, mining is semi-limited (only so many things per chunk) and has some pretty large risks associated with it (geonauchts, grue, and so many more). This one probably stays the same difficulty/efficiency the longest, scaling directly with your tools and abilities to mine faster and your gear to block off dangers and osha-iffy the place. 3. Crafting. This one is where most folk dont know beforehand what all it considers, but, this is probably the strongest early game, and the strongest ultra late game. This skill is what boosts crop xp, furnace xp, potion xp, and several other similar things. This skill lets you get large amounts of xp for cutting trees, making charcoal, harvesting plants, breeding animals, cooking food, and more. If you make some auto-charcoal farms, and huge auto planting and auto cooking super cookers, then you can get massive mostly passive XP gain that scales as you build more, and this can break all leveling limits more or less. Note: breaking crops can rarely spawn plant creatures

Copper is the tier before iron, the lvl 4 item, its 0 (flint) ➡️0 (stone)➡️4(copper)➡️8(iron) Although technically you can access silver and gold items before iron with some magic levels. It keeps going past that, but those are some to start

You don't have to suffer with parasites if you would look up canteen and charcoal filters you can thank me later if you don't want to make the filters you can just fill up a cauldron with water on top of a campfire and fill your canteens that way

This modpack is 1.12.2, so just right clicking on the bed doesn't work. You have to actually sleep in the bed overnight
