They still dont seem to realize, in survival special all of the waves are time based, so if you drop the big ones fast, you will get more big ones, but if you stall them out (with powerups of otherwise) then you might only get one. That is why jardon often gets fewer modified pieces in it.

As much as I love these guys' interactions, for me at least, Jordan's conservative approach seems to make him frustratingly lag behind. Pete, X33n, and Jordan's rates of improvement have become very different over the past months. I know Cap has said before that he is a risk-averse person, but I would love to see him push his luck on these games and reap bigger rewards because of it. C'mon Cap, you can do it!

The existing pieces are the only orthogonally-connected arrangements of 4 tiles. That's why they're called tetrominos ("four"+"dominos"), and hence why the original game is called "Tetris". A plus-shaped piece would stray from the game's concept.

It seems like X33N & Pete are throwing games more often so cap can get the wins. I know Cap exaggerates their ability gap but he is very capable to keep up and win his own games without the others throwing games for him. First it was charging rules for his benefit and now they take it easy on him or throw, Takes the excitement of the game away for me.
