Personally I think for nerf, magnification provides only brings cons and no positive gains to using it especially with how fast darts drop at a distance, It can confuse you to Perceiving that a target is closer than it really is and having to deal with a eye box is not ideal for cqb

For HvZ, yes. But not everyone plays HvZ. PvP at 250fps+ is a whole different game.

I find magnification somewhat helpful when people are shooting each other with 70m/s caliburns from 200 metres away

Interesting. Might use it for my Pump Skewer. Only problem would be that I want my red dot on an angled rail because that’s how my eyes work. Edit: Wow that’s more expensive than my entire setup! I don’t know if it’s more expensive with all the 3D-printed parts, but still!
