I got an interview for a job where this will be one of the programs in use. It all went well, but as someone with no experience in Adobe Captivate, I was a bit worried about getting started. This video makes me feel so much more confident; looking forward to checking out the advanced tutorial as well. It also helps that the interface is actually far more intuitive than Powerpoint's (It's like a mix of GIMP image editing tool and Powerpoint.) Thanks for this!

Forget it I switched to Articulate Storyline 360 because it seems to be more mature and robust platform. What I really need is a text box where I can highlight a word and have it hyperlink, play and audio or trigger a tooltip.

Great video, but I see it's on Captivate "Classic". Is there a reason one would use the Classic app vs the current Cp app?

There are a few reasons I'm using Classic but the primary one is Software Simulations which are . . . well a challenge with Captivate but quite straightforward with Classic.

Great video! I could not find what the usage guidelines for this video are. I'm creating a course that teaches employees how to be effective training developers and I want to include this video as some of the material pertaining to Captivate. Am I allowed to embed the video into an eLearning? Can I link the video in my training? Am I allowed to edit the video and show only parts I feel are relevant and include those in my eLearning? I was following along with your tutorial, but when I right click on the first slide in my responsive practice course, it does not have all of the various options that you have in your video. I can only see them in the non-responsive course. Also, when I try to hover over the different font and color palettes to compare them, it does not actually change the physical look of the slide. Could it be because I am using the free trial version, or could there have been some sort of update in the software since you recorded your tutorial?
