In this and another recent series of pictures, some e.g. the image at 7:32, are from late 1941. I think, "those people have no idea how much their lives are about to change." Also, many of the buildings appear very stark, almost forbidding or foreboding, in these black&white images. Moreso, I think, because many of them have few if any people in them, as if the people of the time didn't want to be near them. Thanks for posting, I'm really enjoying the slide shows.

Love the old-time photo at 6:18 showing the jail in Silverton, Colorado. If I don`t get to view historic photos at The Time Then once a day I feel as if I am locked up. Please keep the photos coming.
