Updated OBS has mixer on the bottom of the audio sources. click gear > Advanced Audio Properties > set mic/aux to your number.

Sorry for not replying I must have skipped ur notification or something. What you need to do is if the mic sound is ahead of the game then you need to delay the game sound in obs by adding a filter to your gameplay audio. He shows you how to delay everything in the video.

Thanks for the video. But what happens when you have several cameras and only one of them is delayed? If I delay the audio to match the delayed camera then the audio will be way ahead of the picture on the other scenes/cameras right? Any suggestions?

Dude, thanks a ton for this. I didn't know about the video filter thing. Is that still necessary? I'm not a gamer, but I'm getting video delay from my mirrorless camera (Panasonic Lumix G7, HDMI to USB adapter)... I'm actually curious how I need to set it all up, because only THAT camera is delayed, video (I'm sure if I recorded my console gameplay (Xbox360, yes I'm oldschool, haha) or my new Quest 2 gameplay (somehow?) it would be delayed as well, but I'm just trying to figure out how the do the audio sync for the game audio (or for me, piano tutorial audio), lined up with my live talking. And what do I do when I Change the Source to Desktop Video? Then the Facecam and Audio have a Delay but Browser and curser don't have :/ What do I do to fix that?

Cr4zy Clips great question! Unfortunately I think the only way is to add a delay to everything to match the capture device. I’m sure with some tinkering I could find an alternative way to fix it but for now the above should work just find

Zeefles thank you for your answer 😃 the problem is I can't put a delay in the the Browser soure :/ there is no option... I think I am just going to change the delay from the webcam and audio back to 0 because I am not having delay in the browser. Then it should be synchronized again. 😃

I'm streaming vr and my vr stream is off by 1000ms but the video capture is of myself playing is off as well and the audio. Do I need to worry about my capture first then try to fix the stream? I'm using droidcam x to capture and my audio is off by 600ms .please help me, I'm tired of looking foolish on my stream

I hear you brother. I would say match everything to your video delay. If you video on your game happens 1000 milliseconds late start by matching your camera to your actions by recording and rewatching it. OR you could ask someone else to play a game and you adjust the numbers live. I would say after that make sure all of the audio is matched up to that. I hope this helps.

Made it a New Years Resolution to stream, still working out a schedule and got really good equipment going like my Blue Yeti mic, Elgato collapsible green screen, Stream Deck and more to do so like a boss. In any given rate in the latest version of OBS, just scroll over to the gear that is for your audio device and Right click the gear icon and click Advanced Audio Properties and you'll be where you are at the 2:18 point. May even do Super Mario All Stars as the starting Game that has Mario Bros. 1, 2, The Lost Levels (the Japanese version of 2) and 3, which is arguably the best Mario Game ever that has made for it's time and it possible for Mario Games today by the introduction of completely unique worlds for a Mario game. Yes I still have my SNES.

The problem I had was camera delay so I just did the same thing with the gameplay and used 2 capture cards still works perfect just meant I had to delay the gameplay audio as well as my mic audio 👍

Why do we have to use the filter delays on our mic / webcam, why doesnt work it with the whole Elgato Videorecording Thing in OBS S? Tried it but it doesnt workt.. but that would be a much easier way to kill the delay.. just use elgato as a videocapturedevice and give it the "delay filter" so the rest (mic / facecam) is still sync..
