Do you think that one would be able to take off the locking mechanism (quad lock head) and possible attach something else? I have a MagSafe disk that maybe I can glue/epoxy on. Looks like it might come off with a hex key?

Thanks for the video! I use my tablet and phone at the same time and was looking at this as a potential one-handed solution. I have a quad lock case on my phone and am hoping their universal adapter on my tablet on a handlebar mount will mount onto the shaft of this. Do you think that would work? Any chance you could give me the diameters of the telescoping shaft?

Gotta say Quadlock is quality, butt being to buy a dedicated cover for every change in your phone model is a big no no in my case.

Great video. Not for me. If they had put in a gimbal stabilizer, it might be worth it. Because like you, I'm constantly swapping cases.
