I don't see where there will be an Epic Universe opening without any of the rides ready. They've all been testing for months now. Some may be at limited capacity (like when first Hagrid's opened) such as the Battle at the Ministry, but I don't see this attraction not available on opening day. I don't think they would have chosen a date to open knowing an attraction wouldn't be ready in some capacity. Love those new signs. They look very nice. I wanna see it with the LED screens illuminated. Celestial Park still looks behind as does SNW. Hopefully they can get everything finished up with in the next month. I wanna see Epic at night....I love all theme parks (Universal and Disney) at night and is usually the only time I visit. Epic looks like it will be absolutely beautiful at night.

So excited for this to open! I'm going to be in Orlando next week and plan on driving by Epic to see how it looks. What would you say is the best spot to look at the park from outside without getting into trouble?

It’s hard to find a good spot on the ground as there aren’t many places you can pull over into but if you can get near or in that apartment complex parking lot that’s a pretty good spot

Love how many trees are being planted in these updates Went to Hollywood studios last summer and almost melted because of the lack of shade so this is a nice change for theme parks lol

I wonder why Universal decided not to give Helios a signature pool slide or play area like at the other Signature resorts? Something with a cosmic theme would have been really unique. A dark tube slide with light effects set up in a Star cruiser with water canons?

No room...There's really no place else they could put the pool and they made it as big as they could. I think this pool is larger than it appears. Remember everything looks smaller from 1800ft above.

Does it push into the TM parking lot? Does it push into the Helios parking garage and then you have to move that and what does that push out? Etc etc.

Also, the location itself its going to sell this hotel out more often than not and they're not gonna decide to book elsewhere because of the pool. You're there to go to the park, not play around at the pool for 5 days.

That fire effect is 100% going to be nerfed! In all the tests I've seen online my first reaction is there's NO WAY a safety board will allow that to stay as is. The potential liability that would cause is to high! It looks amazing but it's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

It’s similar to the dragon in diagonal alley and I’m sure at this point they would have addressed that potential issue

@capthemagic it so most certainly NOT like the dragon. The dragon is a stationary burst for less then 10 seconds. This is 4 rotating flame bars that are much larger and hotter then the dragon ever gets.

It's possible wickerman in the UK uses real fire on wooden coaster and ironically the only time it almost had a fire was because of someones e cig on the track not the real flames
