I'm not saying Disney don't balls things up cos they do but can I please say some people are so desperate for a conspiracy etc they forget there is such a thing as a story! As far as I am aware bayou adventure happens AFTER the film where Facillier was dragged to the other side so not available to take part in this ride store without a convoluted escape that might be hard to get over in the length of a ride. But he is still a character in the original film therefore available for character appearance and merch! Not everything has to be based on cultural concerns.

You know it's fake. There's no such person as Rey Skywalker. It's Rey Palpatine. She didn't marry a Skywalker, and she was born a Palpatine. Nor was she adopted into the Skywalker clan.

The thought occurs, that Splash Mountain was removed because it was an extension of Song of the South, which had slavery. The movie's music was removed from park loops as well. By Disney's own logic here, Tiana's Bayou Adventure is an extension of The Princess and the Frog, which had Voodoo. That means, by their standard, that the ride should never have existed because of the parts of the movie that contain Voodoo (just as Song of the South contained parts with slavery and led to Splash Mountain being changed) . That also means Princes and the Frog's park music should be removed. Also, Voodoo was practiced by slaves in different parts of the south. Disney has swapped one "offensive" theme with another, by their own misguided standards. They haven't solved a problem here. They also haven't shown how sensitive they are to difficult historical topics or cultural practices. And, for clarity, slavery is bad, and no stones are being thrown at Princess and the Frog or Voodoo. Especially Voodoo. ;)

Can anybody explain this to me: Burbank doesn't want Davie Crocket or "cowboys" that glorify gun-fighting or raccoon hunting around the parks. They don't want the shootin' arcade or toy guns sold at Pirates because it promotes "violence" to kids at a Disney parks. Oh,...but Burbank it's TOTATLY fine to promote "Deadpool" at a Disney park and make a kid's show featuring him. I guess Burbank doesn't think "Deadpool" is violent but "Davy Crocket" is?

I have yet to ride TBA seeing I have not been back to the park yet. But from what I understand they came up with a story of you helping her find a band (though she is there every step of the way so how is that helping) so it would be my guess this takes place after the movie, and that would mean he is gone. They likely didn't want to explain how he got free to bring him back for what is such a simple story, though many say he would have made the last drop more like the old ride. If it really was to try and please the few that have an issue with Voodoo, then that is on point for them as well.

This stories matter bullshit is a cancer that is killing the parks.

Universal gets my money because they're the cool kid who throws shade, and I'm baffled by people who get their Mickey Mouse ears in a twist over it - it's just humor, folks. We all have our own preferences, and it's perfectly fine to be a fan of both Universal and Disney or to prefer one over the other. Let's face it, Disney has changed over the years, and as I've grown older, I've developed a taste for the more adrenaline-pumping attractions that Universal has to offer. Universal may not be perfect, but it's a more thrilling, relaxing park vibe that has me coming back year after year, mostly because I'm a sucker for overpriced butterbeer. 😂

The first season is one of the the greatest origin stories of a comic book character The second season is half great with the Punisher and court stuff, while the Hand stuff felt like a half baked lead up to Defenders The third season is amazing to me because it kept the focus on Matt and Fisk, will a great origin for Bullseye, and this looks like a great follow up

The Fox / WB cash infusion into Fubo means Fubo will replace Venu. Who knows if Hulu with Live TV will ever do anything to improve the user interface. It's a train wreck right now. It's possible that Hulu with Live TV will either steal Fubo's interface or if they will fold the Hulu with Live TV portion of the Hulu app directly into Fubo.

I get the feeling that universal will be making more troll posts towards Disney later on when Disney closes more of its attractions especially when epic universe arrives in a few months

It’s funny twitter posts like this that make me love Universal even more. Whoever is in charge of that account REALLY gets my sense of humor. One of my favorite posts they did last year, was on the Glasgow Willy Wonka scam, to which they posted “No A.I here” next to an image of Toothsome’s. I remember getting a good chuckle out of that one. These messages (for some reason) kind of remind me of those old Cartoon Network bumpers from the 90s. They don’t really care if they are promoting a big corporation or are snarky, they just want to have fun, and make their audience have fun with them. If more media corporations embrace these kind of fun marketing tactics, the world would be a much better place.
