Speaking as a Universal Fan Boy and someone who hasn't been to Disney since the 90s, I think they made a pretty good call esp taken in context of all the bad calls they've made recently.

Why don’t they relocate muppet vision to where lightnings racing academy was?

I'm ok with them replacing muppets. It's not something that I prioritize when I'm there. I also am not surprised that rockin roller coaster is rethemed since they would replace it with an ip they own.

MuppetVision 3D was the last project the late great Jim Henson worked on. I understand the attraction is dated, but it is very sad to see it go.

I do agree on the compromise. I would like to see them leave MuppetVision 3-D until RNRC is rethemed. They can still construct the new ride and keep something people can enjoy. Once RNRC re-opens, then redo the 3-D theater. Meanwhile, Disney needs to make Animation Court for Animation again and replace Launch Bay with a more appropriate IP. Moana, perhaps?

So they are going to retheme the only coaster the goes upside down in Disney World into a Muppet attraction that will have a 48" height requirement???

Honestly, this sounds like a really fun idea. Reskinning Rockin’ Roller Coaster to “The Muppets”, could help make the classic characters relevant for younger generations. Not to mention, the Aerosmith license is expiring quite soon. While, the “Monsters Inc.” suspended coaster does not need a large footprint. The layout, while custom, is not dissimilar to the Phoenix suspended coaster on Coney Island.

Honestly I was hoping they would put the muppets into Rockin n roller coaster. Which surprised me that it’s actually happening. And now since they said they are looking into preserving the experience. Maybe once the villains show has run its course, they can create a new Muppets courtyard and put Muppet vision 3-D into that theater building.

Muppets 3D is a waste of space for a long time, but I felt the entire space should be reserved for Star Wars original trilogy. The Muppets didn’t last long when it was duplicated in Disney’s California Adventure. I never watched it for the few trips to Hollywood Studios in Orlando. I find it weird that many people love it so much. Disney ruined Muppets actually when they made an awful ABC series.

Wow, they are literally destroying Disney. Bob Iger knows he won't be there any longer and is really trying to make some money before he leaves. No need to renew your annual pass, just let it expire. WDW is officially dead now. That's the final nail in the coffin.

This is sad...that area needed some love but I really enjoy the show and go every time we go to HS. Launch bay seems to be a dead area too. It all feels a little disjointed...should Monster Laugh Floor then go into Muppets theatre opening that space up to something new? Tommorrowland could use a little for sure!

C'mon guys,...we need to support Burbank on this. Burbank is doing their best to revamp Disney and cater to today's extremely important modern audience. Yes, that means canceling MANY of the older attractions that were developed for older "legacy" fans back in the day. Burbank needs to update it's parks to represent what younger and more modern audiences want to see. If you consider yourself a "Disney fan", you NEED to get behind and support Burbank's mission here. C'mon folks,...there is a long list of outdated, legacy things like "Splash Mountain", "Rivers of America", "Hall of Presidents", "Carousel of Progress", "American Adventure"...and the list goes on and on. Look at Epcot today!...it's a great success story of Burbank being able to modernize an aging park and bring it into the future. Can we PLEASE stop fighting Burbank and be REAL fans and get on their bandwagon?...please?. ;-)

No, not more time turners. It didn't work in Cursed Child. Stop it. Not historically, one period of time. When 3D tech was massively popular in theaters. Universal has practical experiences in their history.

This ride is gonna be tough for Universal to maintain and not have lots of down time or have stuff operate in B-mode.

Just what I would expect from Disney under it's current leadership. I does look like a shed. I think they might have been going for a guest house look but have no idea what a guest house of a mansion owner would look like. I think all the quality imagineers have left the building and it is staffed with Disney's DEI hires, not individuals that are actually well qualified to do the job. The company and parks just continue to sink deeper and deeper in to the toilet. They're leaving the theme park status to become an average amusement park (Walt's worst nightmare)...

That Haunted Mansion shack has the level of theming expected from Six Flags. Totally misses the mark and is definitely done on the cheap. Certainly below Disney expectations (especially for the prices charged).

How do I get in contact with these creatives because I STILL hate that attraction name. Battle AT the Ministry is so dumb, we're obviously at the Ministry. It needs to be Harry Potter: Battle FOR The Ministry. You as the guest and the Potter gang are literally battling the baddies FOR control of the Ministry and preventing them from taking over. It's more dramatic and more dire and sounds like a HP book title.

Also let’s not forget the Galactic Starcruiser “experience” that all said and done, closed in 1.5 years and was at the very least a $300M loss.

At this rate, Universal will surpass Disney in Orlando. Universal has been building new immersive “lands” with tons of new rides and hotels; while Disney is just reskinning old rides and their new “lands” only have like 1 ride and are made solely to try and squeeze money out of the guests with exorbitant price increases for the same (if not even lesser quality) things like ticket prices, food, merch, ect.

The silhouette is correct for New Orleans Square. Unfortunately, it is missing the detailing to make it look a cottage/shed in the French Quarter. It needs wrought-iron railings, mossy plants, and Mardi Gras beads to liven it up.

That shed has the correct silhouette for New Orleans Square, which is where the Haunted Mansion is located in Disneyland. However, it is missing details (such as wrought-iron railings and moss) that would make it look like it belongs in the French Quarter. For this to work, the shed needs to decorated to look more like the Voodoo Museum.

Doesn’t Universal have a contract with J. K. Rowling where the rides and worlds have to be up to her standards? So, maybe Universal isn’t allowed to neglect maintenance on the Wizarding World rides.
