I use 1 ship to capture every port and ship and anything else I want. Since it has Max upgrades and I have 2 3x ramming capts and it’s a 1st rate I always do good. This is my 1st day playing and I’m over 50 ships. I just do Hamilton missions and when ships attack me I just board them and capture in less then 2 seconds. The longest was 10’seconds on a 1st rate.

Same here, used only a galleon within a day captured all ports from first story campaign. Used mortars to destroy all ships other than 2nd rate(because first rate havent spawn yet) and chainball +grapple shot while sticking to the 2nd rate ship at where it cant shoot me(corner) then board to capture it after killing the crews. Gold is easy to earn as well, max buildings in all ports, buy all necessary materials to produce goods in every port then travel from one to another (I only focus 4 stars port for main gold produce focus) Within a day easily achieved 300k gold coins after spending all else on buildings and ships. I didn't produce more after that because 300k seems enough for now. I used Concord instead of all the 8 first rate ships I captured after day 1, I placed all 8 first rate ships at different ports while using only Concord to do everything. Concord isn't as strong as first rate ship, but what I wanted was the speed. So yeah, every first rate I captured are judt decoration with 2 more 2nd rate ship and 1 steam corvette. I don't see why i need so many ships unless one day I felt like swarming the sea with only my ships, that's a different story XD

​​@@Player-rv8phyeah but if you are using a small ships like snow or corvette then remember not to go too close to 1 and 2 rate and man o war ships cause the boarding will automatically happen and you will loose your crew

The wicked deasa is the beast ship I captured 13 port and completed jonh racham adventure.but with the captains no primium captains so easy I love the kraken I first destroys the biggest ship first like the 1 rate or other

For the start of the game i capature port royal with only a single galleon (Wicked deeds)thanks for the ram damage all of my ships is fully upgraded my money is 251500 gold coin and my only technic is using the bombs as the result the enemy is only 1-2 hit hahaha

My technique is "Run & Boom" where I flee where the wind takes me whilst dropping gun powder barrels or oil barrels but I highly recommend gun powder. Very effective. Sunk dozens of ships with that tactic without attacking ports.

why u attack the biggest port? It have a cheaper cannon ball and alot of cheap canon ball, the big port is always a good trade so when i choose to attack port i will choose small one
