How can I download Free Peak images and animate them to create motion graphics?

I don't see the capture option under the file menu. Are you using the free version?

@@sgrisetti I am using powerdirect or 365 annual sub.. The capture version was in the software, after an update, it is gone.. :( Any thoughts?

@@guppy235a Hi Guppy and Hurley - I also have PowerDirector 365 under annual licence. I've successfully imported analogue video from my Sony MiniDV player via FireWire. They've just removed the word "Capture" and replaced it with "Record". So just follow the advice in the video above. For me this worked: File/Record/Record from Webcam/Capture from a DV webcam

@@dariusthepersian8359 I have the Power Director 12 set up, and I've been transferring loads of old VHS tapes onto my laptop for a couple of years. Today, all of a sudden, the screen is black, but the audio is still coming through. I downloaded the Powerdirector 365, and still got the same issue. Particularly frustrating as I am trying to get some old family vhs tapes onto digital for a function next weekend

I don’t like the new power director 365. It is super slow and glitching. It takes up more space too. I can not figure out how to capture video I have the free version. I was working on a project to convert all my vhs to digital and now I can’t finish.. any suggestions?

There's just no substitute for the Ultimate version.

@@sgrisetti agreed. currently transferring my grandmothers old homemade VHS videos to digital with the diamond as well. (i have powerdirector ultimate) your work and info is so appreciated!
