Let's paint a sunset glow in watercolour in this peaceful coastal scene.

Last week I looked too early for your post (on Sunday morning here in the States, US) so by the time I checked, and found that incredible video, you already had at least ninety comments. It looks like I'm an early commenter this week, so: That sketch book video was so wonderful and so full of inspiring creativity ... I'm still one of those people who makes so many mistakes in painting that I'm not ready for sketchbooks. I loved that video, and I'll return to it again and again, I'm sure (and I'll slow it down too so that I can watch many of the pictures for a while). Beyond that, I truly love your voice ... and I realize that making a video with the voice is a lot more work. Today's video (back to your normal kind of video) is absolutely perfect, and I will watch this video again and again too ... I always learn from you. Thank you!

Beautiful colors, gorgeous painting!! I hope you don’t mind my asking, but do you know if there a difference between Baohong’s “Master’s Choice” watercolor paper, and Baohong’s “Artist’s” watercolor paper? I can’t seem to find this information anywhere! I can’t tell whether they have two names for the same paper, or if “Master’s” and “Artist’s” are two different papers (and if so, what is the difference?).

Baohong have Academy paper too which I think is their “student” grade paper which should make Artist paper their professional grade one. But I can’t be 100% sure…

Absolutely beautiful Anastasia, as always. I love the flashes of Quin. Sienna and the water droplets in the sky. Have you tried Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleedproof White instead of gouache? Usually one layer is all you need but you do have to be careful sometimes not to be too heavy-handed with it. Best wishes.
