Getting a pet monkey is a lifelong commitment and most of them end up in monkey sanctuaries like the one in this video. Luckily there are places out there that are willing to care for these little monkeys! To have teeth pulled is so cruel and sad 😢 I always loved Monkeys but realise it is a big responsibility. Glad I found Boo's and Meela's channels. There use to be a man in Roanoke VA that had pet store and he had 2 like Boo and Meela they were not for sale he kept them at the shop and I use to drive there to take my son to see them alot. We always enjoyed visiting them.

I have to question that it is sad to see monkeys in a sanctuary. I know the monkeys had probably formed attachments to their previous owners, whether or not they were well cared for by them, and initially would have missed them, but in time the people will fade from the monkeys' minds. I think all monkeys are happier with other monkeys. (I know Pete doesn't think so.)

The is the first time watching a video on capuchin monkeys. I never realized how incredibly adorable they are. The smile on Rosy"s face completely put me in the most awesome mood. But, I know that I have a 9-5 job and I would never be able to invest the time and attention that these guys require. This is what is good about your channel. You explain the serious responsibility it takes to raise and care for a monkey. It is sad someone would remove that poor monkey's teeth.😢 it actually makes me mad that someone would do that. Monkey's will bite. It's in their nature. Thank you for showing this. Please spread the word and reach out to those who seek a monkey but not know what they are getting into. Everyone should realise that even monkeys grow up and they are just as much fun as a adult as they are as babies but still are a huge responsibility. They will always be curious and into "monkey buiesness". I feel bad for those poor things but I know they are in good loving hands now. I want to especially thank those at the sanctuary. I'd love to work or even volanteer at a sanctuary. I love monkeys and all animals but I want the best for them. With me I care for them before I care for myself. They come first.

When we were kids, there was a department store with 2 squirrel monkeys for sale in the pet department. EVERY kid in that town wanted those monkeys. Some of us would whine and beg till our parents dragged us out. One family finally bought the boy (they were $200! A fortune in the 70s!). My BF went over and visited a few times. Of course the kids didn't know how to train him, and he turned mean. They gave him to the zoo. Sad end for a monkey. Glad this place could help these guys; glad we have Boo for our fix of Monkey Love.
