Our 5th Gen camaro AC duct was leaking. I decided to fix myself. The drain was above the transmission!!!!

Thanks for doing this video. My 2015 Camaro is doing the same after it was serviced by dealer with AC issues a week later. I appreciate you showing how to correct it.

Huge Thank you! Been having this issue for about a week, seen this vid and went out there and jacked it up and sure enough solved all my issues! We were able to get at it little bit by bit without lowering the trans if that helps anyone worried about lowering the trans, we pulled one side lose and then jacked the other side and pulled it completely out.

Ended up doing it pretty easily just took off 3 bolts, the grummet was pushed in which stopped the water from coming out

Hey! I was curious if you knew what size that little hose that goes in the grommet, mine is completely missing (had a heater core replaced and they never put that back.) If you don't, no biggie, but thank you for the video, super helpful!

Quick question, that metal line on the right side of the exhaust. The one with the open end that goes to nowhere. What is it for? I changed my cats the other day and found a small rubber hose line with a round part at the end. Which was in between the heat shield and the headers on the passenger side of the engine. The end part got melted from the heat and I need to replace it. I traced it leading back to the hard-line that is open to nowhere.

Was able to fix this after a heater core issue but I think the leak damaged my radio. It won’t turn on. Any suggestions?
