did you replace the expansion valve?
@Shonky4477 Жыл бұрын
I have to do this on my buddy’s car. I recently replaced my expansion valve on my Altima but I was told to spray some penetrating oil on it a few days before. Mine has torque screws but they came out with no issues.

No need to disconnect radiator hoses just push forward. This is a very easy job. Don’t make it hard.
@737mechanic3 ай бұрын
Good luck thinking that is easier. You will fight the lower condenser connections because you won't have room to work. Not to mention when you get to the compressor you will have limited space with the radiator still installed.

@@bobbuilder-wo9tv You would still fight the lower condenser and trans cooler connections.

How can we possibly flush the expansion coils inside the dash if we can get the evaporator valve out, im replacing every component and line in the AC but im worried there might be gunk in evap coils left over that might destroy my new compressor, ood one went bad after system leaked all refirgentant out through leaky shraders

49:17 mine started leaking there and tried tightening it but still leak. Guessing I have to replace it? If so, what is that called?

A/C manifold to the compressor connection. 2 seals go on there.

Can you please tell me where the low pressure switch is on this car? The high pressure is easy to find but i cannot find the low switch. I have googled everything and no results.
@737mechanic Жыл бұрын
There is no low-pressure switch, the high-pressure is the only one.

Guess that is a common problem. GM should have known better than that.
