@@davehedgehog9795 not quite the same thing. A yard sale isn’t a bunch of people merging in a pop-up place bringing their stuff to sell. I’ve had plenty of garage/yard sales and it’s at my house and it’s only my stuff and maybe a couple of friends’. These not sakes are more unique as it seems they’re just pop-up in a lot, a bunch of people come and sell stuff out of their cars. A Flea market is sorta like that, The ones were people can come to park and set up. However, those are at designated, already established “Flea Market” businesses. These boot sales seem to just come outta nowhere in a random parking lot (car park) or nearby lot of land. I love that aspect.

I purchased a game from a carboot sale in Birmingham took it home and there wasn't no disk in the box. I won't make that mistake again. I check it before I purchase it

Enjoyed this one Gemma! Quick tip on the PS3 Phat, if you were looking to see if it was the 60gb backwards compatible model presumably. Those have 4 USB slots on the front, also a little flap that opens to show flash card readers. Easiest way is the 4 usb slots though 😊

I always find the easiest way to tell at a distance is if the grey strip where the disc drive is. If that's chromed, then it's BC.

Why would you buy something from the car boot that's the same price as CEX. At least you can go back to the shop if it doesn't work. Definitely wouldn't buy a console unless it's a lot cheaper

I was at the GameCity event in Nottingham when they first previewed Haze for PS3 (in that first pile of PS3 games). It didn't impress me much and that's before it was finished. I'm always a bit wary about buying electronics at a car boot.

Repros are worthless imo. If I just want to play the game I'd rather use an everdrive. I don't want to support the reproduction market and the Chinese factories spitting them out. The only good thing Repros do is sometimes keep genuine game prices within reason.
