I used to go to my local carboot every Sunday watching these videos has got me back in the mood i have been attempting to go for the last few weeks but every Sunday its been raining! I go and buy records used to buy dvds but i have stopped now trying to get rid of my dvds and only buy blu rays of films i really like. Never really looked at games cause the few times i have they want like 20,30 quid some people want the actual game price and like u say im not spending that kind of money at a carboot for one game.

Car boot sales are so funny. Some of the items I've seen include a letter box, a pair of used tights, a door knocker, and a toilet seat. Its like someone has a loo and thought this seat must be worth at least £5. I know that door knocker can go someone keeps knocking my knockers every week.

I miss car boot sales, we don't have them here in Australia. Loved going to them when i still lived in the UK. Went to some when i was visiting last year but it was nothing like the good old days of getting C64s and CD32s for peanuts. Walking away from that Megadrive and N64 was a crying shame! I'd have been on those like a seagull on a dropped chip.

Some nice pick ups this week Kev. Shame about the super slim though. Could sell it for parts. I've been to 3 car boots today after about 3 weeks of not going and I found zilch worth buying. Only complete console bundles I saw were 2 PS2's and both sellers wanted £20 for them. Also saw 2 pink DS lite and a black PSP all without chargers.

I collect retro and it's kind of expensive as a hobby so pickup up doubles of things and trading them in for alot of credit makes it a super easy way to obtain expensive stuff. I paid about 30 in trade and got myself a sega multi mega recently (costs 330) so it works :) I only keep the best of the best stuff and I'm a huge gaming fan so always playing

With retro I keep it but only the best stuff that's worth playing again. With other bits I trade towards more of the AAA stuff :) I complete alot of older games many times as they are worth coming back to especially on snes and NES :D
