I used to "graze" all flea markets/boot sales for years.Noe I am nearly 80 y old I try to sort MY life out and give lots to charity shops. I'm looking forward to see you new kitchen.

Some great bits Iwan. The wooden cabinet took me right back to the 80's, I had one in my flat. I used to display my quirky egg cups and spice jars on mine! The 'thing', hmmm that everyone is referring to at the beginning reminded me of my son's homemade candle, he made it at school when he was 6. He was so proud of it, we nearly choked with laughter, but had to keep a straight face! Let's just say it quickly went into the dresser and it is still there to this day. My son is 26 now!! 😂🕯xx

We would put small succulents and cactus in the shelf things and hang small air plants from the hooks. Maybe paint it and hang it on the wall of the roof garden!

Hi, re kitchen wall unit. I had one of these in my first home about 37 years ago. In the top section, I had tin foil or parchment paper. Bottom one held the kitchen roll. Then the hooks held cups. Love the Ursella Beauty Bag. Thanks for sharing this car boot haul. x

I would use the wooden shelf you purchased from Carbost for coffee pods/tea and candles, you could paint it the same colour as your Welsh dresser

Hi Mr Carrington. I love when you do these car boot videos and hauls you always find really good bargains. I love the blue wash bag with the bees and I wonder if the seller didn’t realise the earrings were in it. It might have been a gift and the person giving it may have put the earrings in it and the seller never realised. It’s not the first time I’ve done that and donated a make up bag or wash bag with some other present inside 😂. I’m excited to see what you do with the unit. I love the tea towels my mum used to have ones like that she used for glasses. Luke will love it too. I hope Pumpkin is better now? Your videos always make me smile love them. When I spotted the jacket I could imagine you wearing it on a cruise. The t towels look like glass clothes that are used in restaurants, it goes quite nicely with your new bin &Luke will love his.

Enjoyed the various stories with your boot sale bargains. Beware using water on wood. Check the finish first and how fully you are able to take the item apart. Water will raise the grain and your item may need sanding afterwards, followed by varnishing or waxing and buffing. This may take longer, but may ultimately give you a better finish

That kitchen wall unit - if you can get the back off you can glue wall paper or vinyl tiles to it - what do you think? Things I spotted: Loved the 2 very heavy flower pots. They’d look lovely planted up with lavender. And we won’t mention the other thing 🫣😅

Hi, the Command hooks are great for anything you want to hang at Christmas. Lights, garland, small wreaths, etc. I take a wreath and put a piece of ribbon through it to hang it up. I then hand it on the hook and tie a big bow so you can't see the hook. Let you imagination go and you can come up with so many things to use them for.

Mr Carrington, I saw a hack a short while ago when someone had a wooden piece similar to yours and they used spray oven cleaner left it for a couple of hours and it came up lovely lighter in colour and clean ….just an idea. Your such a great ‘boot boy’ 😉

Well, what an interesting haul from the car boot! Love the Disney bag, you could pop it in your bathroom and keep oddments of toiletries in it perhaps? The odd earrings I would save for crafts I have boxes of old jewellry and always come in handy for a decoration for something. Really liked the two jackets. Missed seeing the kittens this week, hope they are okay? Thanks for this, I watched you while eating my breakfast. Still laying carpet in my house, only another two weeks to go and both Hubby & I are feeling knackered, but plodding on and getting there. Have a good week end Iwan x

I just KNEW you would buy that linen jacket!! Looks great on you and what a deal! As for the weird ‘Ursula’ pouch - it might do as a ‘gift bag’ for one of your lady friends. Love the wooden shelf - ‘cheap & cheerful.’ I would not paint it - I would give it a good scrub and just rub in a couple coats of beeswax. You always find great stuff. I think my favorites are the brass hardware pieces. I don't know if you have Brasso over there, but it would, probably, make them look like new. I have to say, your videos are so refreshing. I get so happy when I see a new one in my feed. You're always cheerful, have a smile on your face, and have an interesting, fun video to share. I saw some terracotta pots that looked as if they had been decoupaged. I did that using seperated layers of a napkin and thinned out pva glue. Nice diy idea x nice bits as always Mr C

Great haul. My local boot starts at the end of the month. That's always my nod to the end of winter. Earrings even odd ones are handy for crafting when you need to add a bit of bling to s frame or card etc. I always have a stash of bling on hand just in case. Lol. Hope the kittens are doing ok. X

Having worked in fashion all my life there is a period I hate and that's the 80's !!! The other day I actually bought (still can't believe it) an 80's EMERALD green glove leather bomber type jacket lined in heavy satin. The quality is lovely and once on, it's really cute but honestly WTF !
