Awesome find on the talismans. I picked up a whole bunch with the comics from Freecycle just 2 days ago. Haven't seen anyone mention them in years then we both find them in the same week.

Hey Chris long time follower just catching up on your videos and just watched your Florida trip, what your views on when on these American thrift trips, why don’t you buy more stuff and post it back to your home address that way you can buy as much as you want instead of being restricted to luggage ? Is that viable do you reckon as I’m thinking of doing a trip to the USA myself 👍 happy hunting.

It’s considerably cheaper to buy extra luggage, £60 for 23kg. You could in theory do that for 4 bags per person. Go onto pirate ship (USA postage comparison like parcel2go) put in 23kg to the uk and roughly the same dimensions as a suitcase and see the price…

Also don’t forget to declare and pay your import duties especially if coming back with multiple cases. You can do this online before you leave the USA.

@whatever22638 ​​⁠Also something worth considering which I never even thought about until a viewer mentioned it. Is thrifting in the USA considered working? If so that’s a whole other headache. I was unable to find a definitive answer.
