I think you're meant to pop a hyacinth bulb in the top and watch as the roots grow down and the flowers grow up and above the rim. First fill with water but ensure the bottom of the bulb doesn't touch the water or it will rot. 🚗

Hi Andrea you got some really nice things there, I enjoy going round the yard sales and car boots with you and hubby, sometimes I see things that I like and I'm saying to myself please pick that up, I used to go with my late hubby to the car boots every Sunday morning, he used to buy car related stuff and tools and liked ceramics and glass, but since he passed I don't feel inclined to do it anymore, but I enjoy watching you, xxx🚗

Love the Wedgwood, I used to sell tons of fine china back in the day, but always hated packing it up. You could use the damaged gravy boat for fresh flowers. Also loved the little 50p pot, I bought something similar from a National Trust shop. My Dad used to grow hyacinths in vases like that when I was little, thanks for the memories 🎉

🚐🚘….plse do more car boots… you get more vintage stuff there ( and when watching Nic ‘s video… it was very frustrating for you!! 👎…, thank goodness you got the Wedgwood. Andrea! …was shouting at the screen….until I saw the box in your cart 😃… great find….Being a ‘Glass’ person… loved the smaller fish platter.. good idea to sell as a pair….and the green glass hyacinth grower was lovely… would make a great flower vase easily too( my favourite👏😃)… Wonder why you passed on the ‘corn rose’ canisters..I know the lid were a bit scruffy but they are easily polished up….and the Biscuit jar would be worth getting in any of the Hornsea patterns, I tbink.. getting more and more collectable ( I love 😅the FLEUR pattern .. so if you see any… plse get them.. I would be interested!! ….( you are getting a Brontë Biscuit jar … later😃)…the rare serving platter …Very Interesting!!… Hope it does well..🤞🤞…by the way the gravy boat.. even though chipped… could be included at a nominal price… despite the damage… am sure a buyer would appreciate that!!… because it is a pretty Wedgwood set…. Finally the hand made and painted platter… is another winner !!…Enjoyed the whole thing, Andrea…Thank you…. PS…( don’t like Gisela Graham at all..can’t like everything!!! ….)…Sue 👋👋
