Insane that in this market the truck was worth $5500 and they paid that for it. In the condition before they started with a blown head gasket and the condition that's crazy. A few years ago that's a $2000-2500 truck and mostly for the utility bed

I am encouraged that Richard kept it real by reviewing how little the millennials actually did according to the original plan. I think we are all in enlightened now that they needed this first practice run before turned loose on a profitable flipper. I think they would’ve failed miserably without all of the assistance that they ended up getting. I think they are as many as five of these projects away from having a strong basic understanding of the thought processes that it takes. I am in favor of them doing this again but there needs to be portions of the valuable professional consultant advice taken out as they progress gradually. They are still a ways from the train wheels coming off and that gradual push to make it on their own. I don’t know if they realize it but they may be getting drafted soon and we may be helping their brains learn to make decisions that will come in handy for the rest of their lives.

With the new "Raptor Bronco" coming out it'd be really cool to see your version on a 70s/80s Bronco, Blazer or Suburban and call it the "Gorilla" edition with some sick emblems! Do a V8 swap for a new motor, procharger, full exhaust, ceramic breaks, Ohlins suspension parts, custom wheels, front & rear bumpers and do a Custom Metallic Forrest Green paint job with light brown baseball glove color/worn leather interior!

From the initial challenge in part 1. I knew he was going to bring up labor, supplies, etc. 😂 Not only do most people not think of that. They also don't realize that an employee who makes $18/hr. actually costs the business closer to $25/hr. They pay taxes for paying you, tax on profits, plus unemployment contributions, workers comp premiums, employee to do payroll (or accountant), etc.

@@GasMonkeyGarage LOL!! I've seen the "Truck Market" lately......Even in THIS Market.....Take off the GMG stigma that truck now has....delete the Video's......take it down the street and park it in the Ellis Color Supply parking lot with a FOR SALE sign on it.....it's a $3000 Truck......Plain and Simple.

I live the new crew....the TV one was a little stuck on themselves. Nice to see there is hope for the future. Good on Richard for giving them a chance. A class dude all the way. 2022 is definitely the Year of the MONKEY

But is is a great learning experience for them Richard. Your job isn't as easy as it looks, there is skill involved. Oh! and you can handle your beers alot better than they can.

23:11 The art work by Scratch was nice but totally NOT worth it as it was neither appropriate nor desirable on a work truck. Anyone buying a work truck would NOT want GMG's art (unprofessional look for a business truck) or logo (not for THEIR business). That's $2000 that a worker would NOT want to pay for when buying a utility vehicle.

yep that $2k would've been better spent on a fresh coat of paint for the whole truck.

It's cool no doubt. Just hate the Gas Monkey graphic on the door, dig the others a lot tho. It was very cool how Chase really warmed to the truck.

Going by the emblems that were on the truck it's a one ton not 3/4 ton. Yes, not all one tons had duels some were single.
