My pup had 50 ticks when i rescued her as a tiny pup, abandoned on the property next door. I pulled them all out. There is a good (green) little tool on Amazon. Good to have in First Aid Kit. I was freaked out by them, but have dealt with them so much now that it's no longer a big deal. I give her Bravecto during tick season now and it works great. It lasts twice as long as the pkg says. Need Rx from Vet tho.

Oregonian here! Welcome to our spectacular state (I might be a little biased). 👋 If you’re going to Cannon Beach, drive a little bit south and check out Manzanita. Less crowded, cute little town with beach access and no bunnies. Hike Neakahnie Mountain or Oswald State Park. Going East? Go to Mount Hood, Painted Hills and/or Smith Rock for the ‘gram worthy photos. Into wine or planes? Go to McMinnville. It’s an hour from Portland in the middle of Wine Country and home to the Spruce Goose (and me, I grew up there!) Go South to Crater Lake. Yes, it’s worth the drive. The view is breathtaking and there’s plenty of great hikes a long the way. There’s a million other places I could suggest but it all depends on your interests. Have fun, can’t wait to see where you, Blue and Ru go! 🤗

so after watching many of her videos I have concluded that she either gets much more exercise than she films, or she has the fastest metabolism in the world. lol She is always eating meals meant for people hiking trails which are really high in calories. Just something I noticed and thought I would mention. If you are car living, check your ready made meals for the nutritional information because some of them are specifically made for people burning a ton of calories on the trails.

All dogs do that. They breathe with their tongues, so the added energy to reach for water is less on the priority list for them. This is when I help my dog drink through a syringe on the side of the mouth, and slowly, pointing away from the throat. I do it till she lets me know she’s had enough. I also would again hold the bowl by her mouth just in case she wants more. I’m very attentive to my best friend.

On the way to Multnomah Falls, stop by Powells City of Books and the International Rose Test Garden in Portland. Also, hike to a bunch of the other falls in that area too. They're all beautiful, *each in their own special way*. (*where I broke into an accent like you do haha :)

Oregonians.. we're Oregonian's here lol. I always love visiting Multnomah Falls because it's not far from where I live (20 minutes maybe)... I like to get there via the old historic highway that starts in my town (Troutdale) But now you have to have a permit to drive on the old highway in the summer.. it's weird. The view from Crown Point is my peace though... I heckin love it up there. You mentioned Cannon Beach, I adore it there as well. Ugh, ticks freak me the freak out. I'm freaked out by all bugs but I cross over into fight-flight-freeze when it comes to bed bugs and ticks. I've been in 3 different places that had bed bugs and now I can barely sleep in a hotel room, no matter how nice it is or how thorough I've checked the room. I don't even like having people in my car because they might have bed bugs in their house, in their stuff, or on them. I just can't deal!!! Anyway, I have questions: 1. What do you do all day when you're in camp? I know you walk Blue twice a day, you fix meals, and at night you edit video. How else do you fill your time? 2. Do you date or are you even interested in dating? My last few relationships were God-awful, like plague of locusts awful, so it's going to be a long time before I risk dating again, if I ever risk it again. Right now being single is so freeing and peaceful that staying single forever feels like #goals. 3. How is the hatch tent working out for you? I haven't seen it in your videos since the first time you showed it so I'm guessing it didn't meet your needs in some way. I'm on the fence about buying it so I would love to know what you think about it. That's it for me. Take care!

You can also use diatomaceous earth, food grade is non toxic. It's a very fine powder and will keep things dry as well as kill bugs.
@juniadventures2 жыл бұрын
@@stj971 yes, I use deltadust, I’m not sure I would use it on clothing or bedding.. that’s normally used outside house barrier or crevice as it does powder and is water repellent. Because it is water repellent it could cause harm if you breath it in as it can get stuck in lungs and nasal cavity. Have you ever tried to pour water on it, it’s weird how it stays dry lol and beads water away. I guess you can treat the floorboards with it
