The fire has not destroyed the land. It’s on mud and the woodland is a commercial campsite not wild public land. Campers have permission to light fires and they even sell you their firewood.

i often use a fly as an awning just because in wind they are quieter than the pull out awnings, they flap around and hit the metal bars all night. I have to have a beer out camping ..........if I want to cut down I just buy a liter can, then you can say u only had 2 cans.... u feel much better.haha good vid thanks

Hi 👋 no, just never been a fan of crowds. I think isolated time on your own is vital for my mind. Some people can’t bear it but I love it. However not for long, 1-2 nights is all I do. Mini breaks that don’t require major travel time and distribution to every day life. Been married for 17 years and these short solo adventures are a welcomed treat for me and my wife 😂. We’ve always had a healthy independence to do things we enjoy that the other perhaps does not, as well as stuff together. If I were to start over I’d not spend as much money on equipment and just get out more regularly. Once a month but not video them all.

Hi, it rides like any roof tent except it’s lighter weight than other hardshell tents. It’s shorter and DIY so not professionally made. 42kg. 😊👌

Hello! Thanks for your continued support 🥳 I don’t use any special techniques to edit sound on my videos. I just use simple cuts. Maybe the dead cat sound muffler on the microphone is helping to avoid any breathing sounds. I’m not often too close to the microphone though and if I am it’s usually pointing away from me. I don’t hear any on my clips when I import them into premiere pro. I wish I had a better answer for you ☺️👍

I just find it cringy when you have to add ambient rain sounds when it can be observed through the movement of the leaves that it isn't really pouring that much.

The rain sound is loud because the camera is under the tarp. Which is under a clearing in the trees. Therefore it got more rainfall on it. The leaves aren’t moving much because they’re also under the canopy of trees above. It’s a weird thing to get triggered by mate. Have a beer and relax man

Hi there’s some lovely ‘quality of life’ accessories that don’t break the bank. I like the extended window switches and the dash tray that jimnystyle.com sell. The cup holders are super useful too. The biggest impact you can make on the car for bigger budgets is a suspension change. All in good time though mate the standard car is such fun and full of character 😎👍

Cheers 🍻- they’re from revolution race. They’re thin enough but warm enough for most conditions. The ones I’m wearing here are called cyclone I think. Waterproof with a thin fleece lining, they’re really nice. I find their sizes a bit weird from time to time. Can’t justify fjallraven prices for camping but I’d like to try them eventually. These are a bit in between not cheap but not too expensive and seem to last. To be honest I still like my scruffs work pants and they’re half the price,
