Brilliant stuff. Loved this movie when I was younger and it holds up so well now. These two show The Blues Brothers how it's done!

They made many great movies but this is still my favorite. So grad they both got together again in the new Get Smart. RIP to both.

Arkin and Caan were always fighting with the director, and said he had no clue what the point of the movie was. In the end, this created a whole cop-buddy comedy genre like "Lethal Weapon", "Fletch" and so on. Mostly because the 2 actors enjoyed bantering so much the movie turned from a serious cop movie into this weird quasi comedy.

"You're going to get us killed..." Well, that's rich coming from the driver. Seriously folks, don't try this at home. Strangling the driver of a moving vehicle REALLY isn't a good idea. Wait until they stop and put the vehicle in park or apply the hand/parking brake...

Awesome footage clean HD love it! TY WARNER BROTHERS. i feel like James Caan had some insight character from his previous experience from Godfather i in this movie like it followed him & he used some of it haha his hothead personality like he won't stop, he''ll go after em & let em have it! haha gotta love James Caan excellent acting even in Misery too

The picture may be clean, but the sound is so badly distorted that it breaks up. There's no way I'd waste buying this on Blu-ray with a soundtrack that's as more crap than an answerphone
