Awesome presentation. I wonder if Mr. Reed teaches the same way at class. By the way, I heard that you can avoid unexpected fireworks while working on a fuel tank if you fill it with exhaust gases.

Never run the car below a quarter of a tank of gas that way you can insure the pump will last. I just look at the quarter mark as empty and go fill up.

sir it's impressive listening to u ,now my question is why is it that fuel filter is there to filt all dirt that is going into the injeters, but sometimes get block and needed to be sprayed?

Dan very informing seminars on autos here I have a 2008 Lexus LS 600 HL and it has a lot of miles on it and as I drive and or brake I am getting a lot of crackling and popping noises when I hit brakes some vibration just replaced rotors and pads recently I know there are a lot of parts in that suspension and I replaced the inner and outer tie rods on the rack and also the passenger axle lower control arms replaced 3 years ago but that axle grease slinging probably ruined the boots on the axle so thats why it went out possibly. Where would you start to diagnose correcting these noises on my car. Thank you. Craig

Octane doen't raise ooomph. It raises the flash point so the fuel does not ignite during the comprossion stroke and detonate. This is why high compression engines need higher octane. Your high compression ratio raises oooomph.
