Been watching the series and I have a question. Since you live up North, do you have a Thermobob for your klr? I live in MI and been thinking about getting one because I ride during the winter all the time.

I am literally ordering one right now. It really seems worth it if you ride in the cold all the time. Not to mention the warm up time is drastically reduced...

5:08 that to me looks like a moose vs car at night. They are so black an don't reflect light so don't see them till you are right on top them. They are so tall that the hoods of cars go under the belly then the belly makes contact with the windshield. Almost happened to me, an I have lost more then one friend to them. It's why I don't drive at night up her unless I have too.

Hey Joseph! Glad to hear you are looking into the KLR's! They are great bikes for the price. Sure, they aren't very powerful, but the reliability and simplicity of them make it a great bang for the buck !! I love my KLR. It's done very well for me with the amount of miles I've put on it, in just the few years I've owned it!! I did do the doohickey upgrade on it when I first got it. Very easy to do.
