There are some dealerships around me that every once in a while will do a special where you get $500 minimum for your trade in, no matter how bad if shape it's in. As long as it can make it to the lot l, they'll take it. I wonder if something similar happened here lol

It's insane how used, torn and destoyed this interior looks for a relatively young car. Even taxis and uber cars which are used everyday carrying dozens of people weekly have descent interiors when they go on sale. Like he said, this person must have been VERY active.

That is not cigarette residue! That is just pure filth . That stuff got wet it dried got wet again. The carpet was rotting and mold growing. That car needed burnt not cleaned .......

That'd be the 92 ford explorer that has carpet deteriorating and needs some carpet cleaner everywhere. I just vacuumed and cleaned all trash out if it lol.

One suggestion I would make, If you do another car of this magnitude. You really should use a respirator, as the potential exposure to methamphetamine and other narcotic residues is extremely likely.

I think you would have a much easier time cleaning the dashboards, steering wheel and in all the plastics in general if you use the steamer and the detail brush combination. I’ve seen other detailers use that technique and it does wonders! Especially for cars that are THIS gross.

For the steering wheel, I use a magic eraser with my all purpose cleaner since i dont have a steamer and it seems to work fine for me

You have to be careful however. Magic erasers are actually a mild abrasive. Softer leather steering wheels could actually be damaged

I love the Fox Clean detail brushes. They are stiff enough to help remove dirt in the tight spots yet, soft enough not to scratch the material

I drive a 2013 dodge dart and I thought my car was dirty until I saw this. I actually just detailed it the other day so it smells great and looks great too with a clean dash x carpets.. seats and all!. Seeing as my car has 140k miles on it and looks 10x better than the interior of this one... glad to see a detail of a car similar to one I own!

We once bought a house that was so smoked the nicotine literally had streak marks on the walls. Scrubbing, Kilz paint and repainting. I cannot imagine cleaning that out of a vehicle!

Will list my questions as I watch: 1. How long did you keep the ozone Gen running? 2. When clear coat is coming off, how do you fix it? 3. Did you use a black light on it for body fluids? Gross I know. Comment: Must have been owned by a Big Foot. 4. Why did you choose NOT to remove center console? 5. Yohoo is much lighter! This is THEE dirtiest water hands down. I have seen some of your videos and really appreciate that you do not trash but try to help and encourage the DIY. I was wondering about seat belts I haven’t seen how you clean them as they get pretty dirty as they are handled all the time? Tire foam shine works great for real hard dirt like on the turn signal arm you had there in this video . All so in cup holders spry let it sit a bit and then use a brush

I would suggest getting a car trim removal tool kit. Keep you from damaging the trim with flat head screwdrivers

Change found $5.88. The cup holder and other stuff, I think i would have sat them in vinegar water and then use a steamer to clean and disinfect. Kudos to you for taking on such a gross interior. Beautiful after results.

This whole cleanup job is missing one crucial tool: a steam cleaner. Although I understand how bad it smells and adding heat to it won't make it any better.

That came out way better then before almost look like a new car but hopefully thr dealership manager changes the carpet out that way it can really smell good but you did a good job keep up the videos

It looks like it's never been clean. And that carpet is in sad shape. My Dodge is 19 years old and the carpet looks like new.

Love your videos also a fellow detailer. If I have stubborn stains on plastics and steering wheel etc that's bad I will use apc and a magic easer you should try that let us know how you get on keep up the amazing work 💪

That's everything bit of a $700 job. I have my dealer license but my fiancé goes to the auctions, I pretty much do the paperwork. I really want to start detailing our vehicles myself. I've always been such a detailed person when it comes to cleaning and this would be perfect when I'm not doing title applications.

So I don’t exactly detail cars but From experience with cleaning shoes I learned that washing them with cold water lifts the stains more because hot will cause wicking. I know the hot water helps sanitize it more but maybe give it a shot one on the heavily caked carpets.
