Cross hatching is useless and overrated in polishing, and when you apply a ceramic, that means you're wasting time IMO, plus that cross hatch means you're consuming more ceramic which is pointless. Another point that I'm trying to make is that cutting foam pads is useless when you have a microfiber pad. Foam pads are just for very light cutting or finishing.

A pressure washer is good for cleaning your seatbelt (outside of the car of course). Its far quicker and thorough.

Here’s the question. Did you clean the headliner & the seatbelts? Because if you did not then that smell is still going to be in that car.

What do you use for odor removal in a smoke smell car we usually start with extraction, then a wipe down, then we will use a hydroxcyl cleaner to scrub the air this is labor and time intensive but it does work just curious how you handle stuff like that '

Respirators always please! Gloves and glasses also. Avoid skin contact with the surfaces if possible. Just by staying inside these cars is already dangerous, even more shuffling the dirt..

Nice job. If a car once looked like this, it will look the same in a couple of months. Doesn't give a shit & disgusting behaviour never change. I am curious about, what happened in that point. Imagine, owner woke up in a morning, and had a wild thought: Now the car is dirty enough, time to bring it to a cleaner.

That’s mold. Super dangerous if you don’t actually kill it. All of it. Doesn’t look like any of the products you used are meant for mold. I feel bad for you getting sick but worse for whoever unknowingly buys this from you and is exposed to the parts you can’t get clean.

As a detailer myself I don’t understand how KZbin detailers can get almost all of the dog hair out with just a vacuum. No pet hair removal tools and no compressed air. The carpets in Hondas are very cheap and all of the Hondas I have detailed have been a pain with pet hair.

A little more details on what you were doing would be helpful for the beginner...like why you taped off areas and a little more about the clay and how to use it and when it's too dirty and you need to use a new one type of things
