The term Barbecue is a Taíno word pertaining to the Arahuaco group of languages (Arawak-Maipure), widely spoken by the Indigenous population of the Antilles and many other continental regions surrounding them. Just imagine how wonderful and delicious these original barbecued food must have tasted for the word to become so popular. Thanks for sharing Diff, I always have a Lekka time watching your videos.

Did you consider "expanded" metal for the center section? It would make walking around easier, and also hauling things other than cars, if needed.
@mikl91113 күн бұрын
I was just going to suggest the same thing!
@bg36513 күн бұрын
Expanded metal could also provide better traction, lighter too.
@christophereakin13 күн бұрын
Might consider plywood bolted on, too, if only to catch stuff that falls off😮
@donames694113 күн бұрын
It would let dirt and rain, though, to get on top of the bed and in winter to wouldn't be safe

Hey my brother, nice job on those ramps and those tie downs turned out great as well, nice and sturdy! I like the fact that you measured the wheel base of various vehicles to get the correct placement, very smart! So up in my small village where I live in British Columbia in Canada, I had the pleasure of meeting a young family over the Christmas holidays that moved up from Johannesburg and learned a little bit of the country down in South Africa and when they were leaving I said to them “ have a lekka one”, they were so surprised and so delighted to hear some words from their homeland! I’ll have to learn some more words next time we get together. Thanks for the video my friend and have a great rest of the week!

Looking good and taking shape and the truck also LOL For the center section you could put your wood skills to work and put a "goodie box" tie down, chains, ratchet straps etc. /cover/lid/door countersunk below the surface. Just throwing it out there, if it sticks, paint it.
