Indeed. I was in complete shock to see my Geico bill. I'm accident and ticket free and my rate has almost doubled. I thought at 1st I had someone else's bill. Was told crime has made it higher. Now after 10 years will be leaving them. My rate is now higher than my car payment....for a used car. 😢

I was charged $1200 with a six month coverage for a 2008 Ford focus. 60 year old. Zero ticket or accident for the last ten years. Liability coverage only. That's not counting the other vehicles and home coverage.

Just got off the phone with my insurance company. Our rates just went up. We are in our 60s. Drive little and have a perfect driving record. We almost crapped. We actually heard the following.........................................Our rates are going up to pay for all the poor drivers in our area that have so many accidents......So instead of their rates going through the roof and everyone in THEIR class and hence with keeping them off the road, WE have to pay for them? Yup, that's the new ideology.

The Insurance company are liking this. They are not working very hard. It's easy Money for them. All they have to do is sit behind a desk in a nice cool A/C And make more money by telling people that your insurance rate has gone up even if you have a cleanest driving record it doesn't matter. The insurance company is going to find a reason why it's going up. I bet they get a discount by working at the insurance office.😡

I remember when they said after you turn 26 year's old And that if you have the cleanest driving record and no Accident my insurance rate will drop. After all these years I have been waiting for my insurance rate to drop. It only drop very little. I pay my car insurance every 6 months And my insurance is going up every 6 months.😢

I just saw another increase in my insurance from last year, It went from $78 to $93 a month. A large leap from about $60 I was paying 5 years ago. ( I drive an old Jalopy )

SIR I HAVE NO TICKETS AND ALMOST A 10 YEAR OLD CAR THAT I DRIVE LESS THAN 200 MILES PER MONTH LESS THAN 3,000 MILES A YEAR. NO TICKETS NO ACCIDENTS AND IS MY MAIN VEHICLE. AND MY INSURQNCE WENT UP 30% FOR NO REASON.

Nha, none of this stuff is a solution. Even if you get it lowered somehow, it will get to the original price or higher with 6 months to a year. They are not going to stop raising the prices. Really comes down to the citizens taking action. Like, if the majority stopped paying and obeying. Insurance is the demon of America, in every facet of it.

I don't know, that dude was paying $600 a month for two cars and now down to $400 for two cars because he bundled with home owners insurance. Anyways, he is still getting ripped off, I just got a new car and pay $85 a month for the higher end coverage, not minimum.
