I seen all they ways of busting pallets and the tools and what not. I though of the car jack idea but you beat me to it lol. I have to find the easiest way with riving and tearing as I have lots of back problems. Thanks Roger. I subscribed. Let's see what other useful vids you have

So far you are the only one I've seen on KZbin to use a car jack for this! I use this method for pallet deconstruction, I also use a jack under my router when it's fixed to its table for fine tuning.

Wood splits because it is dry. If you spray the pallet with a water hose the damp wood will be softer and more flexible. And easier to separate without splitting.

If u separate the centre nailed point first it reduces the tension in the board & 99.999 % of the time will prevent the board from cracking/ splitting (thank me later) 😉😉

Turn the pallet 90 degrees so that the three runners are horizontal instead of vertical. Then tap each row of blocks with a big hammer.
