I have an S-MX too! It's a white 1997 low down. I was wondering if you have been able to find any JDM parts suppliers that ship to the US? One of my liftgate supports has broken and I have not been able to find a replacement. Since the back door is so heavy (compared to most cars), not even a generic support will work. I appreciate any guideance you can offer.

I haven't found any solid parts connects for this car except on ebay. Here is the part number for the liftgate supports- I hope this helps even though they are discontinued... 74820-S70-003
