For the ACR issue I had the same when I had 2 monitors one with hardware calibration and the second one with software ICC profile. For some reason ACR always took the ICC profile of the second monitor and applied it to the preview of the photo... Lightroom did not have this issue only RAW opened with ACR through PS. A solution to it was to never software calibrate the additional screen and do all my coloring on one hardware calibrated Eizo screen. I am using Windows though and color management on Mac should be much better, but maybe for some reason you are experiencing the same issue I had.
