Congrats!!! I’ve got an ‘80 450 SL and have enjoyed restoring it even though she’s been a high maintenance Mistress. That said she drives and handles like a dream. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I like your approach. Essayons !!!

Nice job! The gray paint and wood don’t look too bad on camera. Try to get some original metal windshield wipers if you can get your hands on them. 😊

oooh yeah that would be nice! I was just watching your A/C videos again, my system has no leaks, but the compressor wont click on when I jump the switch. Kicking myself, because I had the compressor out of the car early on in this series and did not test it for some reason. it is quite the process to get it back out

GOOD VIDEO! I AM SURPRISED THAT YOU DID NOT PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR YOUR SEAT BEFORE RECOVERING THE FRAME WITH THE NEW COVERS. MY SEAT COVERS I BELIEVE ARE IN BETTER SHAPE THAN YOURS, BUT MY DRIVER SEAT IS NOT EXACTLY SUPPORTIVE. DIDNT YOU REQUIRE NEW/ADDITIONAL SPRINGS?????? THANKS

Surprisingly the springs were in great shape, however, i wish i would have added more foam material in certain spots!
