I don't understand at all what is wrong with his voice. He has a great range, and his voice is unlike any other today. Car Seat Headrest has always been about using imperfections to their advantage. Also given that he can play guitar, and is the primary mind behind the band. Seems to me like he is instrumentally talented, and you are just hung up on his coarse vocals.
