the lyricism will displays in most every track that csh puts out is really somethin. He always is able to paint a clear and relatable narrative to the audience while keeping plenty to himself and this song is no exception. the tonal shift is really really good, and i feel like now is a really good time to start branching out from their standard sounds after the twin fantasy conclusion. we got what was needed , the arc’s completed, and its really good to hear something intricate and new that hasn’t lost any of the impact or weight of the older stuff. (thats so many words no ones gonna read haha rip whatever)

Just heard this song on MPR on the hottest day of Minnesota this year, dropping my friend off at work. The DJ told a story of a concert he did in 2017 where it was like 90 degrees and he performed in a black turtleneck sweater, and made the joke about how maybe if he took off the sweater he might’ve been cooled down lol.
