Car Seats Are Not For Boats!

Many parents carry their babies onto the family pontoon boat in their infant car seat because they’re just thinking of somewhere to set baby down during their day on the water. This is actually very dangerous, because a car seat will fill with water and sink (with baby in it) during a boating accident! Leave the car seat in the car and make sure all babies and children are wearing a Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device that is appropriate for their size instead!
