Speaking of fuel milage, I recall a tv show called BJ and the Bear back in 79 where he charged one dollar a mile to transport goods. Diesel back then was 30 cents a gallon, leaving 70 cents per mile for payments, repairs and labour. How times have changed. Thanks for the ride along and thank you LORD Jesus for bringing Brent and Esther home safe and sound.

Surely there's some grilles or fenders out in the yard that would do better being nice and warm & dry hanging on the shop walls rather than dying a slow death outside? 😉 TJ

What a fantastic car show !! When I was a young fella back in the 1970's you could pick-up a tri 5 chev for about $300. I had many over the years and just drove them into the ground. Never thought of restoring them.

Glad you had a great trip. In your video you mentioned how expensive parts are getting. I watch another channel Called Iron Trap Garage. That is a early hot rod restoration channel and the owner has a huge collection of old parts listed on his website. It could be a huge resource for you if it is affordable. Perfect length video for coffee break. The belt sander is handy, belts are no hell, but will do things no other tool will do. i went to 1/2x18 belt sander. Use it lots. Some very nice cars at the shows, and you found some great treasures. Thanks for bringing us along!

I worked out the cost of gas between my place and the U.S there is a sizeable difference between California & Us, but only a few pennies between here & Florida, after the exchange and gallon difference are factored in. I think Taxes have the most to do with that. Cheers.
