29:10 axle storage? pop quiz, what does the axle bolt to on the car? The frame, right. So get you a narrow minitruck frame, say an S-10, Dakota, or Ranger frame, you leave the axle and spindles on it, and you got rollers on it, and you roll it around, maybe leave the parking brake cable attached so you can vise grip it to park it. That's probably enough room for 10-12 axles. With as many as you have you might need a few. Or stack them. Maybe pull it around with a garden tractor. Or one of those Carnival locomotives with a Briggs and Stratton engine to choooo chooooo around the yard.

If u want simple rear end watch my uncle use a winch and a large chain extended of piece box tube 2 chains and just made chain loops spaced every foot with one side detachable to wrap around axel tube and just raised and lowered it in the barn ive Seen he just lower it and pull on bottom one and layed right to ground its cheap way and he had is up against back wall and it worked along as remember.

Bury two poles in the ground 4.5 to 5 ft apart. Auger holes in on an angle and put pipe in. Stack 1 or two axles on each set of pipes. Just build it all in the corner somewhere but make sure you can access both sides

Pickin junk, always a good time! As for axle storage, depends how much welding you want to do? Couple of A frames made out of old i beam, set them up on a good pallet and weld some horizontals to them then some stubby arms at about 80° should hold several. Then you can shift them about with the telehandler 👍

Adding to the pile. A junk pick-up truck bed works to store items in like rear ends - just want to keep them off from the ground. One with a cap or junk station wagons you can store better things in like engine blocks, heads, internal engine parts - things you don't want getting rained on. That Nomad would work at least until perhaps someone wants the glass.

Should make a roadster out the Nomad. No front end. Open engine. Big block. Blower. Find a rad cover and chrome lights . 58 Chevy was actually the 57 . The 57 tri was a rush job. 58 chassis is different to tri chassis. But long term fun project. Maybe 4x4 roadster would be fun. And fast. Cool body shape. Getting collectible now.
