Opel cars were/are always better than any VW cause they are more value for money and that count in the REAL world. VWs are overated and hypes. Plus that you buy them almost naked (in a higher price than rest of the brands) and you have to pay huge amount of money for extras and at the workshops for the regural services. I know that the brand "Vauxhall" has great history in the UK but for the rest of the world it sounds like a washing powder brand. Opel is the name, brits.

Vs the facelift gte astra this got 113 hp the facelift one reach the 156 no one gti hatch could beat this hp this years, the gte with 156hp it was bdm available only in british markets.

The GTE 156 was sold in France under the name Kadett GSI 16v

chez Vauxhall (opel anglais) la kadett d = astra mk1... kadett e = astra mk2... astra f = astra mk3... ce qui en soit est plus logique puisque l'astra est inspirée des premières kadett en traction
