So glad this is being shared out. All MM patients need to know about this amazing treatment. I had it in trial (cilticell, Jannsen) 3/2019 and am still in complete remission.

My husband was just informed he may need Car T- cell therapy. He had the stem transplant and they noticed his lambda has increased a bit.. nervous about the side effects? I know the benefits outweigh the risk, but still hoping for the best.

I did have very low platelets for about 2 months afterward and had to have platelet transfusions every day for awhile. That was the worst of it for me. I'm still doing well. I think car t is better than SCT.
