Car turns out to be stolen after bought from dealer by Poland couple

A Poland couple was shocked to find officers at their door, telling them the car they'd just bought from an Ohio dealership was actually stolen. The dealership and buyers say, they had no idea. Jeena Cadigan spoke with a lawyer on who should be at fault.

Has anyone bothered to figure out if the car was *ACTUALLY* ever stolen? "Reported stolen by Hertz" should be considered meaningless, they have a record of reporting cars stolen when they've actually just lost track of their records and it's out with a renter.

Wow! My niece was financing a car from the dealership here in Houston. She was arrested and has been going to court for almost a year even after showing proof of payments.
