I do that whenever I can in my RX-7, up the mountain to my house, usually in the evening when it's pitch black with lights turned on along the road. @@ryans413 you do realise that the space in between the seats in coupes exist right? car manufacturers don't expect you to use the backseat, the car was made for performance, maybe @Axxys doesn't need to put someone in the back 90% of the time so they just open the door, get in and close the door. I don't think they're forcing themselves to drive a 2 door car, they simply chose that car because of they're personal preference. In regards to vans having weak engines: this was true of many older minivans, which had inline fours and weak V6es and were quite often horrifyingly slow; the first-generation Mazda MPV is a perfect example here. More recent minivans, i.e. from the last 10 years or so, often have much more powerful engines and can surprise unaware opponents in a straight line.

I recently got a 2015 Ford Explorer XLT and I absolutely adore her. I love her towing capacity, off-roading capabilities, and large carrying capacity for all my friends or all my items since I tend to be gone for days or weeks at a time and take a LOT of stuff with me, and I still have room for way more. I just helped my best friend move his entire room in one trip last weekend, which was nice because it’s a 30 mile trip one way. And I did doordash for a while and some people order an insane amount of groceries. Especially with multiple big orders, her spacious interior was perfect to hold everything and still have enough separation to not get orders mixed together. Plus she has a V6 under her hood and possibly enough room to squeeze in a V8. I already have a few mod ideas for her but I think I’m going to keep it mostly cosmetic as she’s my daily driver and hopefully will be for many more years. The one thing that’s kinda a bummer is she tops out at 110, 115 in manual dropping a gear, and I love speed. But I’d rather get a smaller project car to fuel my speed desires. Her name might be Scarlet but she’s no speedster😅

For most people, the 5 door Sedan is king. Also, the therm "Hatchback" refers to a vehicle that opens it's trunk door along with the window. That can easly be a sedan size car. For example, the Ford Mondeo is a full-size sedan car but has a hatchback trunk door.

a few corrections on the van: quite a few things wrong here. first off utility is pretty damn good actually, there is plenty space and most household appliances will comfortably fit in there, also most of them do come with a trailer hitch, which is great because vans are big and heavy and thus behave nicely with a trailer. also most vans are available with medium sized turbocharged diesel engines which have torque for days and all wheel drive is also an option. they also behave very well in bad weather, their ride height can vary, but some can also comfortably handle off-roading. and even if they're front wheel drive only, that is rarely an issue if you know how to drive, if you're not going up the hill, turn the car around and go in reverse.

My opinions: 1- buy a land cruiser 2-Honda CR-V,Toyota RAV4 and the others are *CROSSOVERS* not *SUVs.* They have AWD,can’t go off-roading well, are smaller than actual SUVs.. 3-What about the GSF sedan? S class? 7 series?

6 years late but there is also one common (or at least used to be common) type of car missing from the video: the station wagon. Also call the estate car or just wagon. They are basically sedans with extra space in the back. If you plan to carry lots of stuffs, but not THAT much, then maybe it'll be useful to you. They are also usually more maneuverable than SUVs due to low ride height. It's quite rare to see station wagons in the United States now, but they are quite common in European countries.

For the past decade I've only driven Toyota Tundras. Super easy to drive, I can see EVERYTHING around me, I sit higher up and thus can react to things happening several cars ahead of me, they ride super comfy, they can pull huge campers no issue, and the one time I was rear-ended I sat high enough up that they only hit the hitch and smashed their hood in while I only had some very minor wiring damage. Firm believer in truck supremacy...but boy am I excited for my Mustang and BRZ :^)

1. Target of the vehicle / budget limit (including consideration of maintenance and insurance). 2. Brand / model that you always wanted to have 3. Exterior look / performance 4. All other factors unless chosen car is unreliable "lemon". 5. Do not pay much attention to others will say "This is car not for you" / "This car consumes a lot fuel" / "This car heavily depreciates in price with time", unless they are car-guru people and they speak specific facts.

Vans are actually easier to drive for beginners. you sit higher, you have a shorter hood, you have bigger mirrors and larger windows, you can actually see what's going on around you instead of needing to guess, you can properly oversee an intersection without needing to drive half your car onto said intersection, they usually have sliding doors in the rear which makes finding a parking space much easier and they're often (although not always) under motorized so you're less likely to pull stupid stunts in them.
