Bro you saved my life. My kid's car wasn't starting. We left it parked for 5 months while she was away at school. So I tried to start it. It wouldn't start. I tried to jump it, no go. I changed the battery and the starter, I tested all of the fuses and the relays no go. Her physical key and fob were detached from each other. As soon as I put them together the car started up. That was my issue new battery no crank or sound o once new battery installed unlocked with remote and it disabled anti theft I was loosing my mind trying to figure out issue thank you.

The theft deterrent system is armed and the engine will not start. To restore the system ,turn the ignition key to the lock position then to the on position,now press the lock or unlock door button on the driver's door,then turn on the ignition, the car should start.

I removed my pcm trucks brains and bought a brand new one as my stock one kept triggering anti theft.. That shit is dangerous and terrible to deal with time and place depending ect. My alarm and locks all work just fine but I disabled my passlock anti theft from keeping me unable to start and drive my truck whenever I please. Sent computer to get flashed and tuned 100% would do it again.

So I have a 2004 Saturn Vue and she will not crank when this light is on. I used to be able to do the battery method but it has been disconnected for a week and it will not work. My key is worn down I got a new key. Still not working. My gauges will not jump up. I replaced the battery cables. All these things I've done helped temporary but when this light is on she won't start. It's driving me absolutely insane. I've been told it's a computer problem I need a emc or pcm or something like that. I have a Saturn so parts are not easy to find.
