wish they made this colour in a gloss version. Satin looks nice but only when its kept very clean.. gloss still looks good even when it gets a bit dirty.

+akuma4u gloss atomic teal is quite close to this one. it has a bit more greenish color to it in certain lighting though. however satin wrap is really easy to keep clean, and it doesn't get scratches like gloss colors do sometimes.

TopWrapz ya i have a buddy that did atomic teal on his ride it does have a little more green in it (teal) its a nice colour but i love the light blue that ocean shimmer gives.. its just that i have satin peal white on my car now and want to move away from the satin and try a gloss this time. Also, i find with satin colours they look WAY better at night time than they do in daylight. In natural daytime outdoor lighting, the satin ocean looks no where as good as when the sun is about to set or when its dark IMO

+akuma4u not sure. 3m released new 1830 series with pretty lame color selection. But the industry is growing so much that I'm sure that they are coming with new colors soon.

How long does the vinyl last under normal conditions? Fading? Can you wax it or how does one care for it? Very cool video...thank you

around 3-5 years I'd say, but there are so many factors that affect how long it will last that it's hard to estimate. Just wash it regularly and use some type of maintaining product, and the wrap can last a lot longer than expected. Color fading won't be a problem with high quality materials. You can use wax on a gloss wrap. Matte and satin finishes has their own maintaining products. Thank you!

With this if its a complete change of colour do you have to inform the dvla or not as you still have the original colour under the wrap I assume you would hopefully I am wrong ?

You just have tell that the car is wrapped in the next vehicle inspection. At least here in Finland!

What advice would you give for getting wrap under rubber mouldings etc. Like the ones that run along the bottom of windows etc.

Kiitos paljon! Teipeille löytyy paljon erilaisia niille suunnattuja pesuaineita ja vahoja/suoja-aineita. Suht mieto snowfoam seos toimii myös hyvin pesussa. Mattapintasiin teippihin lika pinttyy hiukan helpommin kiinni mutta niitä voi myös aika huoletta sienellä tai vastaavalla hieroa kun naarmuja ei tule helposti.
