Cara al Sol was the unofficial anthem of Spain from 1936 to 1975 and the anthem of the Falange from 1936 to 1975. It was written by Spanish fascist and founder of the Falange, Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera in 1936. Its popularity was boosted after Rivera's execution in 1936. Since Spain became a democracy again, the song has been used at far-right rallies.

Los hombres eran hombres las mujeres eran mujeres se tenían hijos se vestía bien no había suciedad en las calles ni drogas mi ocupaciones la juventud se podía casar y ya tenían su ajuar y su piso de propiedad prácticamente etc

Tiempos gloriosos de España ahora emponzoñados. Tengo 72 años. A mi abuelo lo torturaron y asesinaron los milicianos SOCIAL-COMUNISTAS sólo por el hecho de ser el alcalde joven, católico y de derechas de un pequeño pueblo en La Mancha toledana. No sólo no había hecho daño a nadie ni robaba de las arcas municipales, sino que se cuidaba de que nadie pasase hambre en el pueblo. --Pero era miembro de una asociación católica--. Ahora los descendientes, nietos y bisnietos de los milicianos de la guerra civil continúan sembrando odio y separación en toda España. Se resisten a considerar que la guerra la perdieron en 1939.
