Off the beaten path, this amazing mayan city in the jungle is one of the most remote Mayan sights the average person can get to. I have been twice, it is an amazing city full of ghosts ..you can hear the drums the voices of people long gone.. the ancient knowledge these people had still escapes us today .. I hope you enjoy the video I know we had fun making it ..incredible place

Great video! You had asked about where to stay out there on my Caracol video.....the Pine Ridge Lodge. It’s not on site, and we didn’t stay there, but we did stop for coffee and food. British SAS and American Spec Ops stay there while doing jungle training we learned. I see you used a guide but we drove a rental car so we could stop to film and explore other areas. I would definitely take your advice to get a guide for anyone wanting to visit the site that isn’t doing what we were doing filming. We broke down on the way back in a small town and it started raining while we were still in the preserve making the roads incredibly hard to navigate. Thank you for your great and very informative video! Subbed!

Thanks so much for your report. I enjoyed listening and following your tour of my homeland. A native Belizean now living in Orange County, California, this was very nostalgic. My parents on both sides are decendants of the ancient Maya. We will definitely include this tour the next time I go home :)

Another enjoyable presentation! BTW, the binomial scientific names for am organism is correctly written in italics, with the genus name capitalized, as you have done, and the second part, or species name not capitialized. Just fyi... Best regards.

Odd how the narrator only mentions in passing what country Caracol is in. It's not even certain that it is Belize based on his reference to an archeologist from that country. Why not orient the viewers immediately within a video like this so the viewer can at least know roughly where the site is. Journalistic efforts are simply not what they used to be.
