In 90´s final, bassist and drummer left A.N.I.M.AL and they created CARAJO. I recommend you listen "Poder Latino" album (1998). This album WAS recordered in Max Cavalera studios, and Lemmy Kilmister, Jimmy De Graso and other genius they were invited to play. (De Graso play all drums) PD: Sorry for my bad english. A.N.I.M.AL. is a old band, with member actually in CARAJO. A few years ago, they back to the road with a new formation ANIMAL best album in my opinion is EL NUEVO CAMINO DEL HOMBRE. Carajo's singer/bass player and drummer used be in a band called A.N.I.M.A.L. in the 90's, their influences were Pantera, Sepultura, Suicidal Tendencies, Body Count etc. Carajo came out in the 2000's so that's where their modern nu-metal twist comes from. The song is about the economic and political crisis in Argentina in 2001, and the protests that took place because of that.

3:25 they do that everytime they play the song live, it is freaking awesome. Cool reaction vid bro! Little background story to the song for you and the people watching. This one came out in 2002 after the crisis in Argentina in 2001, one of the biggest economic crisis we've had. It was total chaos, everything was messed up, quilombo everywhere, so Carajo came out in the perfect time with this kind of protest Nu Metal. So it was really epic!

This song was made in 2002, when Argentina was in a big economic crisis. People in the streets robbed supermarkets to get something to eat, the politicians were too corrupt. Surprisingly, this song is one the first songs that Carajo made, and, in my opinion, is one of their best. Enjoyed the reaction, man!

The history of this song goes about this: during 2001, Argentina went through the worst economic crisis they have ever had. Hundred of thousand people lost their money and funds due to the enormous debt the country had back then. The president ordered an state of siege and two or three days after he left the country in an helicopter, while the streets of most of the cities were in flames and riots. This song is about the impotenece of lost everything by the fault of corrupt politicians, that's why the lyrics has some serious pollitical meaning. Argentina recovered from that one, but since they are well knowed in whole Latin America, they still playing this song 'cause most of the countries here also had problems with they goverments, it became like an anthem to the anger youth.

Hi Daniel, it's great to see that you enjoy rock and metal as much as we do. I was lucky enough to meet a Canadian on a trip and he was also surprised at how I was (Argentine) and how much we had in common. No se si realmente le impresiona r esa cancion, mas alla del idioma o su origen, es un tema del 2002, con un sonido muy numetal de esos años, el primer album de carajo es excelente, pero no envejecio demasiado bien, la dinamica de los riffs son a rato muy efectivistas para los ojos de hoy, luego en sus siguientes dos discos (atrapasueños e inmundo), entre experimentaciones, algunas cosillas punk, alternativas o tintes metalcores, obtuvieron discos algo irregulares, pero, el mar de las almas fue un cachetazo, un disco moderno con los riffs mas inspirados de tery, un vilanova que combino su groove con nueva ola del metal americano, y un corbata ya maduro, para mi lo mejor de carajo.
