Hi guys. Yeah mistakes happen but the main thing is the response with fixing the problem. Hey why do some caravans have twin shocks but the tow vehicles don’t? Just thought you might know.

Hi 👋, we completely agree with the response time. Once we had spoken directly with the manufacturer of the suspension and the van things were dealt with very effectively. If we did build another van 💯 we would be using Alko suspension and would build another Vacationer. The dual shocks are much more efficient way to deal with heat soak, instead of one shock going all the work it’s cut in half by having two. It also helps with the handling of the van. 😊

Noticed u have p connectors on your electric brakes.. that is such a bad practice and is susceptible to damage , being ripped off etc (know this from personal experience 😢) Recommend to do a proper, shielded join.

I did notice this when I was under the van, slipped my mind of the jobs I needed to get done, thanks for the reminder 😀… When we are in Adelaide I’ll stop by and get the supplies I need

Can I ask where you got the wind deflector under you pioneer platform from?

Hi Peter, we don’t have a pioneer platform. We actually have the ARB base rack which comes with deflector as standard. We highly rate the ARB base rack as well 👍

Thanks guys however thats just extreamly bad Quality control and this is happenening a lot to all the caravans being built.

We agree that it should never have happened in the first place. We are glad that we dealt with some great people who helped us out. Unfortunately if we didn’t end up in Melbourne I think it’s something that would have been very difficult to get fixed under warranty. The dealer was not helpful at all :(
